Shevaun Nadin is a community-based researcher and program evaluator from Northwestern Ontario (Thunder Bay). She obtained her PhD in Social Psychology from Carleton University (2013), and Credentialed Evaluator designation from the Canadian Evaluation Society (2018).

With more than 20 years experience in applied health and social research, she has expertise in designing applied research projects and collecting, analyzing and reporting on quantitative and qualitative data from across the health and social care sectors. As a program evaluator, she has a passion for understanding health and social care needs and working with organizations to
plan for and assess their programs and services. Shevaun’s evaluation approach is collaborative and utilization-focused. Her skills include designing program logic models; developing evaluation frameworks; conducting needs assessments, process evaluations, and outcome evaluations; and sharing evaluation learnings through various formats (e.g., infographics, summaries, technical reports, etc.).

Personally, Shevaun is a daughter, sister, partner, and auntie. When not at her desk, she enjoys playing the bagpipes, spending time with her family (and furbabies), and enjoying the great outdoors that Northwestern Ontario has to offer.
